wonky houses are all here

Today I got the last house block in the mail.

I then put them all up on my design wall and here's what I have

(mine is still missing, I wanted to wait until all were here)

They are all really CUTE!! thanks everyone.

A Special Note...

We have a few ladies in our Wonky Bee that are not yet Blog Savvy....and that's okay..that's what I am hear for *wink*  I am happy to help whenever I can.  If any of you need help or want me to help you make a post... PLEASE PLEASE EMAIL ME!!  
I received notice from Jodi that she received all of her blocks.. Here's a note that She sent me..I just have to share... (p.s. I asked her to try and send me a pix of all the blocks together so we can see what it might end up looking like... I am so excited to see it)

Hi Christine.  

I rec'd all my blocks.  I think I will make one additional block to make an even 20 blocks.  This was possible because some of the lovely ladies gave me extra blocks.  AND I also got special surprises in the mail with them.  I got a finger pincushion that is sooooo cute that was made from scraps, a magnet made from some of my scraps (it's already on my metal board that hangs in my studio), a signature block that I will use for the label of my wonky quilt, and some smaller blocks made from scraps that I can use to make a miniature or for piecing the back.  It was like a quilty Christmas with the special things that some ladies made and sent.  Everyone was very generous, and just helps to give me ideas as we all move through the year.  

THANK YOU to you ALL for making this sooooo fun.

(and YOU wrote that I could rip it out if I didn't like it.... shame!! I love it, even my daughter squealed at the little bird.. awww what a cute little bird mommy! )

Wonky UPDATE....

Here's are some Updates...

Last Time I talked to Jodi, she had received 8 of her blocks... and from the pictures I have seen (over at our Flickr Group).. boy is that going to be an AWESOME quilt!  Wow... I loved the contrast with the black fabrics mixed in with the brights...  If you haven't mailed your block yet, please try and get it in the mail ASAP ;)

Hi Everyone, YAH ~ I have received everyone's wonky block for January and am excited to fit it in amongst my other 5 or more projects. I will be sure to send a picture when it is all complete.... might be around SUMMER though :)Well I finished Jodi's block about a week ago... I hope she got it.  I alternated all the colors with a black in between each color, that was fun and turned out much better than I thought it would.  That was SO nice of you Jodi to send her daughter your rainbow scraps.  I received the March block in the mail last week and am anxious to start it on Saturday ~ I LOVED the fabrics and pattern!!!  I'm sorry you don't all hear from me much I'm a little handicapped when it comes to all this Flickr, Blog stuff and I haven't been taking any pictures....my bad BUT I love looking at everyone else's and their ideas.  This really is a blast. HAVE FUN!!!

***I am going to try and sneak another picture next time I go over to her house.. I took this one a few weeks back, but she didn't have all the blocks...and I had only been able to get a few laid out on her table for a quick snap shot. ;) 

I also want to say it's so cool seeing all the inspired extra projects that are popping up from our Wonky Bee month's Blocks!  HOW COOL is that!  You are all a very inspiring group of ladies.

As of today there are three pictures of Bea's Wonky Houses over at our Flickr Page.. Gotta love them!! I know that quilt is going to be SUPER CUTE!  What a fun block!   Thanks Bea for your patience with mine.. Sorry I should have held it a bit longer to see if my hand would have been better in time..Soo sorry for your extra work.
